The project promotes students’ home towns ( history, schools, interesting places and people, culture). It concerns mainly small towns or villages. Thanks movies, pictures and descriptions the project will make young people aware that „small is beautiful”!



Goals:

1. Development of students’ ICT and the English language skills.

2. Teaching of using creativity, innovation, decision taking, self-reliance and greater appreciation of the need for lifelong learning.

3.  Comparison of  similarities and differences between EU countries.

4. To become skillful at indywidual and group working.

 

Stages:

1. Personal introduction of students.

2. Presentation of partners’ schools.

3. Presentation of participants’ living places.

4. Introduction of well-known residents.

5. Own songs about our living places.

6. An interesting project of our coats of arms.

7. Presentation of  town history and legends.

 

Results:

1. The project outcomes will be presented to the

    partners' schools, teachers, parents.

2. Students will:                  

- make new friends,

- improve ICT and the English language skills,

- find out more about life in EU countries,

- celebrate differences,        

- be more tolerant, open,creative,

- create public Twinspace with files, photo, films, blogs etc.
